Mazandaran Institute of Technology (MIT) was founded on December 15th, 2004 to contribute to the development of the province of Mazandaran and Iran and specifically to train young people so as to create a skilled workforce in various fields of Engineering disciplines. In its earliest years, MIT was located in the Babol downtown and then moved to its current 10 acre campus location which is the largest Higher Education Institution in Mazandaran. The convenient location and easy access to nearby cities is one of the great advantages of MIT.
