INSTITUTE OVERVIEW

Mazandaran Institute of Technology (MIT) is founded on December 15^th, 2004 to contribute to the development of Mazandaran and Iran and especially to train people so as to create a skilled workforce in the fields of engineering sciences.

In its earliest years, MIT was located in the Babol downtown and then moved to its current campus location which is the biggest higher education institution in Mazandaran with the area of over 15000 m². The convenient location and easy access to nearby cities is one of the great advantages of MIT.

Owing to the quality academic and educational experience that we provide; as well as qualified and outstanding graduates, the university has become one of the distinguished and respectable institutions of Mazandaran.

Today, the university caters to over 2000 students in 14 different majors at under-graduate and 13 at graduate levels. Approximately 150 teaching staff are committed to providing an enhanced and innovative education.
